📋 Description

• Lead global risk assessment design for financial crime.
• Own real-time risk-rating engines and screening matrices.
• Translate compliance into product requirements and triggers.
• Establish second-line risk governance for launches.
• Calibrate transaction monitoring thresholds to reduce false positives.
• Govern analytics deployment including ML models and graph DBs.
• Establish a robust model validation framework.
• Represent model infrastructure before regulators and banks.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• SQL and Python or R fluency.
• 8-12+ years in finance/tech; 4+ years leading FCC teams.
• Experience designing/tuning transaction monitoring and sanctions engines.
• Data-driven threshold tuning and ATL/BTL testing.
• Experience defending automated models and risk scoring to regulators and banks.
• Experience establishing or scaling a model inventory and validation framework.
• Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, AI, Quant Finance, or analytics MBA.
• Preferred: CAMS-RM or ICA Diploma, or ML/Big Data certifications.
• Preferred: Cloud-native, API-first environment for millisecond decisions.
• Preferred: Move ML models from testing to live global operations safely.
• Preferred: Graph databases and link analysis for complex networks.
• Preferred: Lead cross-functional teams of data scientists and engineers.
