Associate Director, IT R&D

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end design and lifecycle management of cross-functional system platforms.
• Own data integrity, security, and high availability enterprise-wide.
• Build and mentor a team of validation engineers and admins.
• Provide strategic direction for IT R&D lab systems and CSV process improvements.
• Own the lab modernization roadmap and reduce technical debt across R&D labs.
• Define IT R&D lab goals and partner with business to minimize downtime and maximize compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years in IT business applications in biotech/pharma.
• Experience with lab systems: EMPOWER, LIMS, LabX, SoftmaxPro, QMS, EDMS, LMS.
• Extensive IT R&D lab systems, lab informatics, and CSV in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of GxP and data integrity; SDLC and validated system support.
• Knowledge of cGMP, Part 11 and Annex 11 requirements.
