Associate Director, Legal & Compliance

📋 Description

• Develop trusted relationships with the business and provide legal and compliance guidance to support objectives.
• Negotiate, draft, and advise on vendor, consulting, confidentiality, technology, clinical, and commercial agreements.
• Support the healthcare compliance program, including policy development, training, monitoring, investigations, and corrective action initiatives.
• Support employment law matters, including employment compliance, employee relations, and investigations.
• Manage outside counsel and coordinate litigation support with external advisors.
• Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer on privacy program, including information governance and AI matters.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and active state bar membership.
• 4-8 years of relevant biotech/pharma/life sciences legal experience.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent project management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across functions.
