Associate Director - Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead project delivery and governance for the Platform Engineering workstream.
• Build and maintain scalable, secure Azure cloud platform (infrastructure, identity).
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and environment automation.
• Define and promote best practices for IaC, security, monitoring, observability.
• Act as primary escalation point to Delivery Leads for platform risks and issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and set standards for quality and delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Lead platform engineering workstreams on large, complex client projects.
• Deep hands-on Azure cloud infra experience (AKS, App Services, Key Vault, networking).
• Terraform/IaC expertise with remote state and CI/CD integration.
• CI/CD design and automation with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Containerisation and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS and microservices.
• Observability: monitoring, logging, and alerting across platforms.
