Associate Engineer

📋 Description

• Join an established ClientOps squad automating internal operations and building services to scale
• Write Python (and grow into Node.js/TypeScript); work with AWS; keep the day-to-day platform
• Collaborate with senior engineers; pair to learn distributed backend systems.
• Contribute to backend services, automate processes, and maintain tests and docs.
• Participate in stand-ups, Kanban flow, and retros; grow toward larger, less-defined work over time.

🎯 Requirements

• Foundational proficiency in Python (or similar) for scripting and small services.
• Basic familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or GCP) and Git workflows.
• Degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience (0–2
• Strong programming fundamentals, debugging, and testing; interest in backend and distributed
• Growth mindset; willingness to seek feedback, pair to learn, and take ownership; working English
• Based in (or relocating to) Málaga; comfortable with 4 days/week on-site.
