Associate General Counsel

📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate software, tech, vendor, and licensing contracts.
• Collaborate with partners to define legal strategy and risk solutions.
• Advise on commercial terms, privacy, security, and regulatory matters.
• Work with executives, sales, IT, and product to scale legal processes.
• Collaborate with EnergyHub/Alarm.com legal team and manage staff.
• Develop and drive policies to enhance regulatory and standards compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in-house or large law firm with software/tech experience.
• Experience negotiating broad commercial contracts; IP/privacy/regulatory knowledge.
• Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple projects.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• J.D. from a leading law school; NY Bar admission.
• Willingness to travel to the DC area occasionally.
