Associate General Counsel

📋 Description

• Serve as the company-wide general counsel, advising on corporate governance, board matters, entity
• Lead corporate practice of medicine (CPOM) analysis across multiple states, advising on ownership
• Support payer and value-based care contracting from letters of intent through execution, including
• Lead the resolution of payer disputes, including reconciliation disagreements and contractual
• Select, manage, and oversee outside counsel across regulatory, litigation, M&A, employment, and
• Advise on healthcare fraud and abuse risks under the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and False

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of legal experience within healthtech or healthcare, with a JD and admission to a U.S.
• Substantial experience in corporate law, with a strong track record negotiating and structuring
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of corporate practice of medicine, healthcare fraud and abuse laws
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and state privacy laws, with the ability to advise on emerging AI
• Experience handling multi-state employment law matters, ideally supporting a distributed or
• Prior experience as an Associate General Counsel, senior deputy, or comparable senior in-house
