Associate General Counsel, Litigation

📋 Description

• Understand Motive's products; partner with Product, Eng, Sales, Security, Finance.
• Lead Motive’s litigation strategy; pursue claims that protect the business.
• Manage and develop the litigation team; shape the function's structure.
• Lead outside counsel selection, strategy, staffing, and budgets.
• Stay updated on industry developments to help peers anticipate issues.

🎯 Requirements

• US-licensed attorney; 10+ years in litigation; in-house tech a plus.
• Expertise leading IP, trade secrets, Lanham disputes; proven wins.
• Significant trial experience; dispositive motions, witness exams, arguments.
• Experience leading litigation strategy from pre-suit to appeal.
• Experience litigating for a public company; financial reporting, audit, governance.
• Experience managing outside counsel, budgets, cross-functional teams.
