Associate Product Counsel

📋 Description

• Partner cross-functionally with Product and Engineering on legal guidance
• Counsel Product and Engineering on key legal issues for B2B AI systems
• Research regulatory frameworks to design compliant AI-powered products
• Align product communications with legal and regulatory standards
• Support initiatives to mature the legal team's capabilities and impact
• Balance risk-taking with responsible development in a fast-moving environment

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in at least one jurisdiction and able to practice in California
• 2-3 years of law firm and/or in-house experience
• Knowledge of AI, IP, privacy, product liability, marketing, or consumer protection
• Experience advising on AI or tech matters in product legal or tech transactions
• Creative, independent, proactive in ambiguous situations
• Team-focused and collaborative working style
• Hyper-responsive and service-oriented attitude
