Associate, Revenue Accounting

📋 Description

• Support the monthly revenue close process by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and
• Perform revenue-related account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Assist with revenue recognition activities in accordance with ASC 606 and internal accounting
• Analyze revenue transactions and account variances to identify discrepancies, investigate
• Review billing, payment processing, and transaction data to ensure accurate recording of revenue
• Maintain detailed accounting documentation and supporting schedules to ensure accurate financial

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably with exposure to revenue
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• CPA is a plus or in the process of obtaining CPA
• Foundational understanding of GAAP, with familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
• Experience preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and supporting monthly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (i.e. lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
