Associate Scientist III, Cardiac Modeling

📋 Description

• Support development of iPSC-derived cardiomyocyte models
• Design and execute experiments, optimize differentiation workflows
• Develop functional and scalable assays
• Assist genetic disease models including patient and CRISPR-edited lines
• Develop functional readouts: contractility, electrophysiology, calcium handling, stress responses
• Document results and write technical procedures and SOPs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biology, biochemistry, or related discipline with at least 2 years
• Deep hands-on experience in iPSC culture, cardiac differentiation, iPSC-CM characterization in 2D
• Experience with genetic iPSC-CM disease models (patient-derived, CRISPR-edited)
• Background in cardiomyocyte biology and/or cardiovascular disease preferred
• Experience with functional assays (contractility, calcium, electrophysiology, imaging)
• Hands-on expertise in molecular assays: PCR, RT-qPCR, Western Blot, immunofluorescence
