Audio Visual Event Technology Manager

📋 Description

• Lead AV tech delivery for world-class events at Convene's Brookfield Place NYC location.
• Oversee AV Specialists; plan, coordinate, and execute client tech requirements.
• Collaborate with sales/planning teams to ensure client experience aligns with Convene standards.
• Direct day-to-day floor operations, scheduling, and resource sharing across locations.
• Prepare and deliver sales quotes with revenue-maximizing strategies.
• Attend planning/pre-production meetings and uphold SOPs.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years managing IT and AV equipment; leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of audiovisual equipment (analog/digital mixers, wireless mics, switches
• Crestron control systems familiarity; data networking basics; Mac/PC/LAN/server experience.
• Customer service mindset; ability to train, mentor, and manage a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours; physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
