Automation Engineer (Cisco CNC Upgrade)

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain network automation solutions using Cisco CNC, Cisco NSO, Nokia NSP
• Build automated pre-checks and post-checks that validate routing, interfaces, adjacencies
• Develop capabilities to detect and remediate configuration drift, synchronization issues, and
• Integrate automation platforms with inventory, telemetry, monitoring, alarming, ticketing, and
• Develop telemetry-driven and closed-loop automation that identifies network issues and enables
• Identify repetitive manual processes and recurring failure patterns that can be reduced through

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated understanding of service provider networking concepts and technologies, including
• Hands-on experience with network automation and orchestration platforms such as Cisco CNC, Cisco
• Experience working with REST APIs, NETCONF/RESTCONF, YANG, or other network programmability
• Practical experience with network monitoring, telemetry, configuration validation, operational
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and software development practices
• An Associate’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred
