📋 Description

  • Provide first-line service response for automated processes and instrumentation across the Union City facility.
  • Execute and/or coordinate routine preventive maintenance for laboratory instruments and automation systems.
  • Perform equipment qualifications, including Installation IQ, Operational OQ, and Performance Qualification PQ.
  • Troubleshoot and triage equipment issues; coordinate vendor support and escalations as needed.
  • Draft and revise documentation related to equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain organized spare parts inventory and GDP-compliant service records.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
  • 1+ year hands-on experience servicing liquid handlers, or 2+ years in a technical service role.
  • Familiarity with coding basics and flow control logic used in automation workflows.
  • Understanding of clinical laboratory assays and their applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems with minimal direction.
  • Excellent documentation skills and working knowledge of GDP.
