Automotive Test and Validation Engineer (Embedded Systems)

📋 Description

• Design and develop test cases to validate automotive ECUs and subsystems on HIL platforms.
• Execute validation campaigns to ensure compliance with system requirements and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HIL benches, ensuring smooth testing operations.
• Regularly update simulation models and test scenarios to reflect evolving system requirements.
• Develop automated test scripts using tools like Python, CAPL, or MATLAB to streamline validation
• Integrate test cases into CI/CD pipelines for efficient testing workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree from an engineering school or university specializing in embedded systems
• 3-5 years of experience in automotive test and validation
• Proficiency with HIL testing tools such as dSPACE, Vector CANoe, NI VeriStand, or ETAS
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, CAPL, or MATLAB/Simulink
• Familiarity with electrical and electronic systems (sensors, actuators, ECUs)
