Autonomous Driving System Safety Lead

📋 Description

• Manage safety claims by understanding the ADS design and interfaces.
• Collaborate with Autonomy Robotics and Software Infrastructure leads on requirements.
• Generate atomic claims and delegate to cross-functional teams.
• Review evidence from evaluation/validation as safety-case arguments.
• Develop processes to track safety performance indicators for driverless deployment.
• Escalate functional and technical risks with mitigations to leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of technical work in a relevant area, 3+ years in robotics software.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctoral degree in CS, Math, EE, Mechanical, Robotics, Physics, or related
• Systems engineering concepts: requirements, verification, validation; deep understanding of robotic
• Experience in safety-critical industries for complex robotic systems.
• Hands-on with ISO 21448 and familiarity with ISO 8800.
• Highly collaborative with strong analytical communication and relationship-building.
