Autonomous Vehicle Operator, Houston (AM Shift, 12-Month Duration)

📋 Description

• Operate autonomous test vehicles in manual and autonomous modes up to 8 hours/day.
• Collect data using proprietary software and provide feedback to engineers.
• Troubleshoot issues with Mission Operations to meet mileage targets.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before/after missions.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance (washing, tire inflation, etc.).
• Interact with the public to educate on autonomous tech; may host ridealongs for leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to work 5 days a week on specified shift (AM shift).
• Current Texas driver’s license; 3+ years US driving experience; clean record; pass background check
• Strong communication skills; comfortable with online collaboration tools.
• Proficient with field equipment (laptops/tablets/smartphones) for documentation and workflow.
• Problem-solving under pressure; team collaboration and independent work ability.
• Self-driven, adaptable to changing conditions; reliable with attendance.
