Autonomous Vehicle Operator, Los Angeles (AM Shift, 12-Month Duration)

📋 Description

• Operate a vehicle in manual and autonomous mode up to 8 hours per day in diverse traffic conditions
• Use proprietary software to collect data in real-world scenarios and provide feedback to engineers
• Troubleshoot operational issues in real time with Mission Operations to meet mileage targets
• Conduct daily vehicle inspection checks before and after missions
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks (e.g., washing, inflating tires)
• Occasionally interact with the public to educate them on autonomous tech and safety

🎯 Requirements

• You can reliably work 5 days a week on one of the listed shifts
• Current California driver’s license with 3+ years US driving experience
• Clean driving record; able to pass background check and drug test
• Strong desire to learn processes and autonomous vehicles
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable with online collaboration tools
• Familiar with operating laptops, tablets, and smartphones for documentation and workflow
