Autonomous Vehicle Operator, Los Angeles (PM Shift, 12-Month Duration)

📋 Description

• Operate a vehicle in manual and autonomous mode up to 8 hours/day in diverse traffic conditions
• Use proprietary software to collect data and provide feedback to engineers
• Troubleshoot operational issues in real time and coordinate with Mission Operations to resolve
• Conduct daily vehicle inspection checks before and after missions
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks (e.g., washing, tire inflation)
• Occasionally interact with the public to educate them on autonomous vehicle tech

🎯 Requirements

• You can reliably work 5 days a week on one of the designated afternoon/evening shifts
• Current California driver’s license and 3+ years US driving experience
• Clean driving record and able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate via online tools
• Comfortable operating laptops, tablets, and smartphones for documentation and workflows
• Self-driven, reliable, and able to stay focused under changing conditions
