Autonomous Vehicle Operator, Santa Clara (AM Shift, 12-Month Duration)

📋 Description

• Operate autonomous test vehicles in manual and autonomous modes up to 8 hours/day.
• Train and provide data feedback to engineers using proprietary software.
• Troubleshoot real-time issues with Mission Operations to hit mileage targets.
• Perform pre/post mission vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
• Engage with the public as needed to educate on autonomous tech.
• Coordinate high-profile ridealongs for leadership and stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to work 5 days/week on specified morning shifts (PT).
• Current California driver’s license; US license for 3+ years; clean driving record.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and independent work skills.
• Comfort with field equipment (laptops/tablets/smartphones) for documentation and workflows.
• Calm, resourceful problem-solving under pressure; safe operating practices.
• Reliability, punctuality, and attendance; adapt to changing conditions.
