Autonomous Vehicle Operator, South San Francisco (Overnight Shift, 12-Month Duration)

📋 Description

• Operate autonomous test vehicles in manual and autonomous mode up to 8 hours per day
• Collect data using proprietary software in real-world scenarios and provide feedback to engineers
• Troubleshoot issues in real time and coordinate with Mission Operations to meet mileage targets
• Perform daily vehicle inspection before and after missions
• Execute basic vehicle maintenance tasks (e.g., washing, tire inflation)
• Educate the public about autonomous vehicle technologies when appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• Current California driver’s license; 3+ years US driving experience
• Clean driving record; able to pass background check and drug test
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate laptops, tablets, and smartphones
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working 5 days/week on the Overnight shift (10:00pm-6:30am PT)
• Ability to stay calm and troubleshoot under pressure; work independently or in small groups
• Willingness to adapt to changing conditions and complex safety protocols
