AV Field Engineer

📋 Description

• Participate in engineering discussions and drawing reviews
• Read, mark up, and follow project and consultant documentation
• Support Project Managers and Engineers on project-specific technical requirements
• Document equipment data (e.g., serial numbers, MAC addresses, IP addresses) and maintain inventory
• Provide detailed daily reports of work completed and open punch-list items
• Fabricate and stage AV systems in the field and in-house as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of four years of AV experience, with demonstrated proficiency meeting New Era Technology’s
• Demonstrated experience tuning large-venue professional audio systems, including loudspeaker system
• Client- and service-focused mindset, with strong listening skills and the ability to understand
• Understanding of how audiovisual systems function and how to diagnose and resolve problems within
• Proficiency with AV platforms (e.g., AMX, Extron, Crestron, Poly, Cisco, QSC, Biamp)
• Solid soldering skills
