Aviation Safety Analyst

📋 Description

• Analyze safety data to identify trends and risks; build dashboards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to assess risks of new tech and flight concepts.
• Conduct safety investigations using root-cause analysis for corrective actions.
• Perform safety reviews of proposed changes to maintain safety and avoid hazards.
• Partner with Engineering, Flight Ops, and Flight Test to ensure data accuracy.
• Support safety promotion by assisting with training and communications.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in a regulated safety environment, aviation or autonomous systems.
• Experience in safety data analysis; tell the story behind the numbers.
• Thorough understanding of SMS components and interactions.
• Proven ability to facilitate risk assessments and document hazards/mitigations.
• Familiarity with safety investigation techniques; drive systemic root causes.
• Excellent documentation; effective with technical and operational stakeholders.
