Back-End Engineer, Trading

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate backend services in Kotlin and Python powering trading products.
• Develop services for order management, market data, and trade lifecycle in real-time.
• Build REST APIs and WebSocket streams for real-time prices and updates.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and trading teams to add features quickly.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability; focus on latency and observability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions; write clean, maintainable code.

🎯 Requirements

• Professional backend experience; Kotlin and/or Python.
• REST APIs and real-time streaming (WebSockets; NATS/JetStream) a plus.
• Working knowledge of SQL; integration with internal/third-party services.
• Understand performance fundamentals and latency; scalable, real-time systems.
• Strong problem-solving and clear communication.
• Familiar with Docker/Kubernetes and AWS; open to learning.
