Backend Developer

📋 Description

• Design and deliver cloud-native features across the Trustonic platform from development to production.
• Develop and enhance AWS-based microservices (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, AppSync).
• Build backend services in Python 3.10+ (FastAPI/Flask) with event-driven processing.
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to boost release quality and resilience of ALPS services.
• Lead or participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Implement SDLC best practices: CI/CD, observability, testing, and production support.

🎯 Requirements

• Python 3.10+ proficiency with type hints, dataclasses, async patterns.
• AWS Lambda Powertools for observability.
• FastAPI or Flask for containerised microservices.
• Hands-on AWS: Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, AppSync, API Gateway, IAM, S3, VPC.
• PostgreSQL (RDS): schema design, Alembic migrations, query tuning.
• Redis: caching, pub/sub, locks, and idempotency.
• Serverless Framework v3, Docker Lambdas, Terraform, Jenkins CI/CD.
• Airflow DAGs and AWS Glue with PySpark for ETL.
• pytest and moto, Black, ruff.
• Datadog APM tracing and logging with Powertools.
• Linux, Git, and infrastructure as code.
