Backend Engineer, Core APIs

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend systems for real-time data processing and
• Build, maintain, and improve APIs, microservices, and backend infrastructure with a focus on
• Develop primarily with Go and/or Node.js while collaborating across services and technologies.
• Investigate complex technical problems through deep dives, root-cause analysis, and experimentation.
• Conduct performance tuning, debugging, testing, and reliability improvements across backend systems.
• Participate in on-call rotation and mentor junior developers.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years professional backend development experience building production-grade systems.
• Hands-on experience with Go and/or Node.js.
• Experience with scalable systems, APIs, microservices, and real-time data processing.
• Strong understanding of SQL and databases like DynamoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with Git, shell scripting, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong communication skills in English.
