Backend Engineer, Core APIs

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend systems for real-time data processing
• Build, maintain, and improve APIs, microservices, and backend infrastructure
• Develop primarily with Go and/or Node.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend components
• Investigate complex technical issues through root-cause analysis and experimentation
• Conduct performance tuning, debugging, testing, and reliability improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional backend development
• Experience building production-grade systems
• Strong experience with Go or Node.js (willingness to learn the other)
• Experience with scalable backend systems, APIs, real-time data processing, microservices
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with data stores like DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and tools (Git, IDEs, shell scripting
