Backend Engineer, IAM

📋 Description

• Build and ship backend services powering experiences for one of the most visited sites in the world.
• Work with product management, security, client engineering, and backend teams to define and
• Select, scope, and execute on high leverage projects aligned with Reddit's goals.
• Execute on a strategy to create a more performant, scalable, high-quality architecture around IAM.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Reddit Engineering.
• Learn and improve technical and non-technical abilities.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing and developing distributed backend systems
• IAM backend experience in either authorization or authentication domain
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages (preferably Go)
• Capability with essential cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS, GCP)
• High empathy and excellent communication skills to collaborate across the organization
