Backend Engineer((L3 Tech Support)

📋 Description

• Investigate and resolve complex issues escalated from L1/L2 support
• Participate in on-call rotation for platform coverage and incident response
• Collaborate with engineering to root-cause recurring issues
• Build tools, scripts, and automation to speed troubleshooting
• Maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting to surface issues early
• Document resolutions and knowledge base articles for teams

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in technical support or software engineering handling production incidents
• Strong troubleshooting across backend apps, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL and Elasticsearch
• Docker and Kubernetes familiarity; cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog for monitoring
• Proactive problem solver with clear cross-team communication; Rails nice-to-have
