Backend Engineer, Liquidity Platform

📋 Description

• Design and own backend services for liquidity management and cash data.
• Ensure funds are available across entities, accounts and currencies.
• Build scalable platforms for liquidity forecasting and funding optimization.
• Contribute to safeguarding compliance infrastructure with reporting and reconciliation.
• Design and enhance investment platform capabilities per internal policies.
• Build data pipelines and analytics to improve cash/liquidity visibility.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building and operating backend systems in production.
• Strong JVM experience (Kotlin/Java) or a comparable backend stack.
• Distributed systems fundamentals: concurrency, consistency, idempotency.
• REST and/or gRPC APIs with PostgreSQL or key-value stores.
• Event-driven architectures and brokers/streams (e.g., Kafka).
• Strong testing, CI/CD, and quality discipline.
• Observability: metrics, logging, tracing; debug production issues.
• Clear written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
