Backend Engineer - Platform - Stacks

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate stack reconciliation systems to track state.
• Collaborate across SSS, grafana.com, and deployments for reliable workflows.
• Improve deployment efficiency and simplify stack rollouts.
• Manage rollout of plugins, dashboards, data sources, Grafana versions.
• Support region and cluster rollouts to bring stacks online safely.
• Own production behavior: runbooks, dashboards, alerts, recovery processes.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 1 year of fully remote work experience.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and distributed systems concepts (scalability, multi-tenancy, HA).
• Proficient in Golang for backend/service code.
• Focus on developer and user experience and product quality.
• Experience delivering projects from ideation to shipping.
• Familiar with Kubernetes in AWS/GCP/Azure and IaC tools (Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet).
