Backend Engineer - Platform - Stacks

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate reconciliation systems to track stack state.
• Collaborate across SSS, grafana.com, and deployment configs for reliable lifecycles.
• Reduce deployment complexity and contribute to Stack Config Reconciliation.
• Manage rollouts for plugins, dashboards, data sources, and versions.
• Support region/cluster rollouts for Grafana Cloud regions.
• Improve incident response and recovery for stack misalignment.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 1 year of fully remote work experience.
• Experience with Golang on backend services.
• Kubernetes in AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet.
• Ability to deliver projects from brainstorming to shipping.
• Clean, well-tested code and strong UX mindset.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and distributed systems concepts.
