Backend Engineer (Ruby), AI Engineering: Agent Observability

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain features for Agent Observability across the backend.
• Collaborate with PM, UX, frontend, backend, and AI teams to refine requirements.
• Design and review GraphQL and REST APIs with scalable contracts.
• Improve automated testing with RSpec and other frameworks.
• Share standards and learnings to raise AI integration quality.
• Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot production issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Ruby on Rails production apps with background jobs, APIs, and data models.
• Familiarity with Python backends and/or Vue frontends.
• Design/extend REST and GraphQL APIs for scalability.
• Experience using AI tooling and AI-powered backend features.
• SQL skills with PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• Strong written and verbal communication in async, remote teams.
