Backend QA Engineer

📋 Description

• Test APIs, data and event-driven services across microservices.
• Develop and execute regression tests for REST and gRPC APIs.
• Validate data with SQL against PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Identify edge cases, risks, and gaps beyond specs.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure robust releases.
• Contribute to automation coverage using Go and testing tools.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years manual testing with focus on backend services and distributed systems.
• Experience testing gaming, fintech, payments, banking, or transaction-heavy domains.
• Strong SQL coding for data validation in relational databases.
• Hands-on API testing with Postman; familiarity with TestRail/Zyphyr a plus.
• Ability to read Go code and write/extend automated tests in Go (Willing to work with Go).
• Knowledge of Docker; ability to run services locally.
