Backend Software Engineer, Collaboration Runtime

📋 Description

• Implement core features of the Collaboration Engine to production-read AI History by end of Q1
• Develop and optimize gRPC streaming (unary, bidi, server) for real-time data
• Build App & Server Registry for discovery and routing for services like CIS live updates
• Roll out connection multiplexing between RTC Gateway and app servers to scale
• Write high-concurrency Java/Kotlin code for WebSocket transport with low latency
• Partner with AI and Platform teams to ensure high reliability and 99.9% uptime

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Java or Kotlin skills; multithreading and JVM performance
• Experience building/maintaining high-load distributed systems or microservices
• Hands-on with WebSockets and gRPC for real-time transport
• Familiarity with concurrency patterns; debug stateful apps
• Translate requirements into clean, testable code that integrates with proxies
• Effective communication for API definitions and service integrations
