Baseball Tech Manager - Data Systems

📋 Description

• Own production deployments for Baseball post-game data systems (cloud/on-prem).
• Test, validate and approve releases before deploying to production.
• Maintain staging and production environments; deployment docs.
• Act as production-readiness gatekeeper; escalate or block unsafe releases.
• Own data reprocessing workflows and quality validation for feeds.
• Stay aligned with Live Operations to preserve data quality in production.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in technical operations, product engineering, DevOps, or similar.
• Experience supporting production systems in cloud, data-platform or software-hardware.
• Strong understanding of AWS services, data pipelines, APIs, databases.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Datadog or CloudWatch.
• SQL, scripting and automation for operational tooling.
• Familiarity with message queues, authentication management and prod support.
