Battery Storage Technician I

📋 Description

• Perform preventive maintenance on battery energy storage system equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and root-cause analysis to restore operation.
• Complete safety docs: permits, safety plans, and risk assessments.
• Conduct LOTO procedures and ensure electrical safety requirements.
• Interpret technical docs, instructions, and procedures.
• Create, update, and track work orders using asset management systems.

🎯 Requirements

• HS diploma/GED; electrical program covering AC/DC basics.
• 1–3 years in battery energy storage, solar, wind, or controls.
• Understanding of AC/DC breakers, transformers, relays, schematics.
• Experience with basic hand/power tools and testing equipment.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and OT monitoring.
• Able to perform field work in indoor/outdoor conditions.
