Benefits and Compensation Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the project management of Island's PEO extraction, coordinating timelines, vendors, and
• Partner with HR leadership on benefit and compensation program design, benchmarking, merit cycles
• Own the administration and communication of employee benefits, 401(k), and perquisite programs
• Manage relationships with benefits brokers, carriers, third-party administrators, and the PEO (and
• Administer leaves of absence (FMLA, state-specific leave, company leave programs, and ADA
• Manage worker's compensation claims and carrier relationships, coordinating return-to-work plans

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration and compensation, with at least 3
• Experience managing a PEO transition or similar large-scale HR systems/vendor change, with strong
• Strong working knowledge of federal and multi-state regulatory compliance
• Hands-on experience with HRIS, benefits administration, and compensation tools
• Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills and comfort working with data to build salary structures and
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex benefits and comp concepts
