Bilingual Childcare Eligibility Specialist

📋 Description

• Administer enrollment procedures for Childcare and update client eligibility files to meet
• Prepare and review eligibility updates for ongoing services, participating in case management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families, offering bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Co-facilitate therapeutic interventions and workshops for families referred through the eligibility
• Serve as an advocate, working closely with teachers, counselors, employment specialists, CPS
• Maintain and distribute up-to-date information on community resources tailored to families' needs.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be fluent in Spanish and English
• Minimum of an associate degree in sociology, child development, human services or related field
• Knowledge of social service functions or health activities and relevant public and private agencies
• Direct experience with determining eligibility for a public assistance program, interviewing
• Must have familiarity with local, state, and national resources for children, youth, and families
• Minimum two (2) years’ work experience in a position involving community or social work case
