Billing Specialist

📋 Description

• Working with internal cross-functional teams to ensure accurate billing
• Timely reimbursement for services provided
• Proper documentation to support billing records
• Maintenance of records in compliance with auditing, compliance, regulatory requirements and
• Reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting records and documentation to identify unbilled units
• Service Authorization Tracking

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Two years of related experience required
• Associates or bachelor’s level accounting or bookkeeping degree preferred
• Experience with, or knowledge of, Medicaid billing requirements, Notices of Action, and service
• Proficient at using a computer, Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications, and ability to quickly
• Experience using Workday, Kronos, Therap, and external platforms such as Indiana State and Family
