BIM Specialist - Mechanical Systems Modeling (Starbase)

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and upgrade detailed 3D BIM models of mechanical systems (heating, ventilation
• Own, draft, redline, and maintain mechanical schematics, diagrams, and shop drawings, and prepare
• Integrate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and production
• Generate construction documents, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), schematics
• Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, internal tooling teams, production leadership
• Lead the mechanical coordination process: perform clash detection, coordinate models, drive

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, engineering technology or related
• 1+ years of experience in a 3D mechanical or plumbing modeling
• Occupational trade school qualification or experience working in a mechanical technical role or in
• 3+ years of experience working with mechanical systems
• Working knowledge of the International Code Council (ICC) codes governing mechanical systems and
• Proficiency with CAD-suite (NX) and Autodesk tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and/or SolidWorks
