Bioinformatics Manager (Oncology Product Development)

📋 Description

• Lead tool and pipeline development for diagnostic tests, incl. methylation and QC thresholds.
• Provide technical leadership for product development across research to launch.
• Supervise bioinformatics/data scientists; prioritize resources and development.
• Input on experiment design and analysis using mathematical principles.
• Operate with high independence and ownership.
• Contribute to intellectual property and documentation standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (bioinformatics, engineering, math, stats).
• 4-8 years of post-graduate experience in data science/bioinformatics and 1-3 years as technical lead in diagnostics.
• Experience moving algorithm-based products through commercialization and launch in medical/biological applications.
• Desirable: experience analyzing or modeling DNA methylation data.
