Biorepository Technician I

📋 Description

• Monitor freezers and temperatures; respond to alarms per SOPs
• Receive biological samples; unpack, file paperwork, and store per guidelines
• Verify shipments; quarantine raw materials for QA release
• Inventory frozen samples; scan into data system (BSI) and update records
• Retrieve and ship samples; perform QC and update outgoing records
• Maintain labeling, paperwork, and compliance with IATA regulations

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years of general experience
• Attention to detail; strong documentation skills; works well in a team
• Familiarity with Excel or basic spreadsheet functions
• Able to lift 31-50 lbs; comfortable in cold freezer environments
