Bookkeeper

📋 Description

• Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping records in Zoho Books, following applicable GAAP accounting
• Process vendor invoices, manage vendor registrations, generate customer invoices, and support
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accounting
• Process employee salaries, commissions, expenses, and other payments accurately and within required
• Prepare and file HST returns and compile monthly and periodic financial reports in accordance with
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records, ensuring information is readily available

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of
• 2–3 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience, with experience in food and
• Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting and proficiency with Zoho Books, or a
• Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of accuracy and attention to
• Excellent typing, organization, time-management, and record-keeping skills.
