Bookkeeper - Construction

📋 Description

• Process 35–45 client bills per billing cycle per contract terms
• Review contracts before billing to confirm terms, retention, line items
• Create and configure new jobs in SAGE 50 per contract terms
• Build and maintain billing spreadsheets aligned to SAGE records
• Receive, code, and track vendor/subcontractor invoices in SAGE 50
• Prepare lien waivers for subcontractors with payment processing

🎯 Requirements

• Education: Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree substitution possible
• Minimum 2 years billing, accounts payable, or accounting support experience
• Familiarity with contract billing platforms (Textura, Procore) preferred
• Experience with SAGE 50 or similar accounting software preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with data entry and formulas
