Borrower Advocate

📋 Description

• Proactively communicate with borrowers on loan terms, servicing, and post-closing duties.
• Monitor project progress and assist with delays or budget overruns.
• Resolve post-closing borrower inquiries and disputes; escalate when needed.
• Explain statements, payment schedules, and online portal access.
• Proactively reach out to at-risk borrowers to prevent defaults.
• Collaborate with servicing, compliance, and other teams for a cohesive borrower experience.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1 year mortgage-related collections, customer service, or sales
• Knowledge of mortgage lifecycle and processing steps
• Strong relationship-building and teamwork
• Ability to own issues through resolution
• Project management experience preferred
• Proficient in Excel/Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Tax, Escrow Analysis, Mortgage Insurance and Hazard Insurance preferred
