Building Surveyor

📋 Description

• Undertake building surveys including condition assessments, technical due diligence inspections
• Prepare high-quality technical reports, schedules, and client deliverables
• Carry out defect assessments, investigations, and maintenance planning activities
• Assist with insurance assessments, reinstatement projects, and claims related work
• Support the delivery of project management services including contract administration, procurement
• Monitor construction works and provide site observations and progress reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying, Construction, or related discipline
• Approximately 2 to 4 years' experience in related field
• Working knowledge of building construction methods, pathology, and maintenance planning principles
• Understanding of New Zealand legislation and codes
• Ability to write professional reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
