Business Analytics Analyst

📋 Description

• Conduct exploratory data analysis across disparate data sources to understand business performance
• Contribute to discussions with decision-makers, using cognitive empathy to frame downstream work
• Use data to identify, validate, and uncover causal relationships of important business mechanisms
• Implement new metrics to evaluate business performance/experiments and build reports and dashboards
• Advocate for data-driven decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA in computer science, mathematics, statistics, analytics, or economics; or equivalent
• 2+ years professional experience in analysis and reporting, including data visualization tools
• Ability to understand systems and business goals to modernize data structures and models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hypothesis-driven analysis
• Fluent in SQL and an analytical tool; experience with Git, Python, and LLMs is a plus
• Some experience with data modeling and ETL concepts
