Business Development Director – Insurance

📋 Description

• Role: Commercially driven BD Director to accelerate growth in Insurance (Life & Pensions
• Focus: pipeline origination, executive relationships, go-to-market across insurers, reinsurers
• Emphasis on industry knowledge, digital/data capabilities, and solutions for system modernization
• Lead GTM execution and position solutions with solution architects and insurance SMEs.
• Conduct workshops, bids, and presentations on AI-led automation, data modernization, and cloud
• Engage CIOs/COOs/Heads of Claims and represent the org at key forums and regulatory roundtables.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong insurance regulatory understanding and operating models.
• Experience in Business Development or sales within Insurance Services.
• Experience in Life & Pensions, Broker and/or General Insurance segments in the UK/Ireland.
• Proven success selling consulting/transformation/managed services to insurers.
• Exposure to platforms like Sapiens, Majesco, Salesforce FSC, Snowflake, analytics is a plus.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Insurance, or Technology preferred.
