Business Development Leader - Biofuels

📋 Description

• Monitor 45Z, LCFS, RFS/RINs, RECs, and intl programs for opportunities.
• Translate market shifts into strategies to protect/grow partner margins.
• Advise biofuel plants, farmers, and partners to monetize environmental attributes.
• Own margins by maximizing environmental attributes and revenue avenues.
• Structure transactions to monetize environmental attributes with producers and buyers.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to translate market needs into platform capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in origination or environmental markets (senior/commercial).
• Strong understanding of commodity markets, risk mgmt, and tax credits.
• Knowledge of CI scoring and production of ethanol/renewables.
• Proven ability to close complex commercial agreements with external stakeholders.
• Self-starter in a fast-paced, high-growth env; travel 35%+.
• Preferred: 45Z/LCFS/RFS/RINs/RECs; GREET; MMRV; regenerative ag; degree; trading.
